Sumartin, located on the east of the island of Brac in the similar bay, is the doors of the island Brac. Good connections with Makarska by ferry makes this place attractive for trips to the Brac and for the rest on it.

If you want to go to modern resort Bol it is not too far from Sumartin, only 20 minutes away by car and there you are on the famous beach called "Zlatni rat".
The most popular historical monuments in Sumartin are the Franciscan monastery in which were many famous Franciscans, the parish church of an Angel, and above the settlement you can go by foot to a preromanesque church of St. Nicholas.
