Skrip is a very important landmark in the Brac islands, it being the oldest town and settlement area. Its history dates back to pre-Roman Time. Some other places would be the churches and monasteries. The parish church of St. Helena is quite famous over here. Started in 1768 and completed in the 19th century, the beauties of the constructions need to be seen to be believed. The interior of the church is very calm and harmonious. The cemetery here is built in the shape of a three naved basilica. Near the church there are old Croatian graves and the most famous is that Cerinic.
